Materials developed for use in external Healthcare and Safety applications are formulated to meet the stringent requirements legislated by governments and defined by industrial standards.  These may include:  FDA Compliance, Flame resistance, Durability and Aesthetics.

 

In qualifying our products for approval, we work directly with customers to ensure that all our design process takes into account every

aspect of the material’s intended use.  Ultimately, Altera’s materials can be found in Grips and Over molds used for non-invasive surgical tools, Surgical tray linings, Medical device housings and monitors.
