Materials developed for use in Automotive applications are formulated to meet the industry’s most demanding specifications including but not limited to:  Color, UV resistance (Interior and Exterior), Chemical resistance, Adhesion, Slip, and Durability.

 

In qualifying our products for approval, we work directly, and as needed, with the OEM design engineers, Customer production engineers, and material engineers to ensure that our design process takes into account every aspect of the material’s intended use.Ultimately, Altera’s materials can be found in interior components such as cup holders, key fobs, gap hiders, knobs, buttons, and dials, seat backing, window and exterior trim.
