Materials developed for use in Transportation and Construction applications are formulated to precisely-defined physical properties required by the OEM’s and industrial standards.  These may include:  Appearance, UV stability, Flame resistance, Flex modulus, Durability, and Chemical resistance.

 

In qualifying our products for approval, we work directly with material and design engineers to ensure that all our product development takes into account every aspect of the material’s intended use.  Ultimately, Altera’s materials can be found on Recreational and Sport Utility Vehicles, Agricultural sheet and film, Roof membranes, Residential and Commercial foundations, and Expansion joints in multi-story structures.
